Pipas and Maiz Frito Now Available
As you'd expect, our range keeps growing as we listen to what our customers are asking for. Last month we introduced horchata from Valencia and a range of blue cheeses from the Picos de Europa. This month, we are pleased to bring you
'pipas' (sunflower seeds) and 'maiz frito' (fried corn snack). These savoury nibbles are enjoyed in bars all over Spain and are popular film or football match snacks. Spanish and English customers alike have been asking us to get these in for a while, so we're now offering both in handy 100 gram bags.
Spicy Chorizo 'Rodriguez' Wins Gold
Since we introduced
Rodriguez' spicy chorizo into the UK in 2005, we have been telling anyone who would listen that it's the best we've ever tasted. This year, the judges at the 'Great Taste Awards', a prestigious yearly event, agreed that it was outstanding, conferring a gold award. If you've not tried this chorizo yet, grab one now.
Brand New Website, Blog and Forum
If you've visited
our website this month, you've probably noticed something different. We've upgraded and redesigned the site to bring you the clearest and easiest shopping experience possible. We've also renamed the blog and moved it to a new home -

Our aim is to provide a definitive online home for the UK Spanish food community and to that end, we've improved the interactivity of the blog, with easier and more prominent commenting. We'll soon be launching a spanish food forum where you'll be able to discuss news, products and recipes.
