The New World of Spanish Food
The world of Spanish food just got a whole lot bigger, better and brighter.
We are launching a massive, new and improved site dedicated to everything to do with Spanish Food called "Spanish Food World UK". It will offer you even more great recipes, information and articles about Spanish food. It will be your one stop shop when it comes to knowing all there is to know about Spanish food.
New Delivery Options for Customers
Good news for customers. To coincide with our recent warehouse move, we're pleased to announce new delivery options and charges avaialable immediately. The main changes are as follows:
- Customers have asked for lower delivery charges for small orders consisting of just one or a few items. We've done our very best to find the cheapest service possible and are now able to offer a service for orders under 1 Kg at £4.99 - that's £1 cheaper than our standard rate. We hope to offer a new Royal Mail service soon - this will mean even cheaper rates for smaller orders and the chance for customers in northern Scotland to avoid the surcharge.
- New faster service to Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland introduced.
- All European destinations are now £14.99 for up to 25 Kg.

Spanish Olive Oil Used in Soap
We are extremely pleased to announce that experts in pure handmade soaps and lotions, Born to be Natural, have selected our Spanish Extra Virgin Olive Oil 'Codegenil' from Cordoba as the base for their exclusive natural soaps.
According to founder Malcolm Pascoe, "the higher quality the olive oil, the better the resulting soap", and Born to be Natural were certainly overjoyed with the result the 'Codegenil' oil gave them after months of testing with scores of different oils.

This is just a brief note to let customers know that we will be closed from 23rd December 2009 to 4th January 2010 - last orders for Christmas despatch will have to be placed by 2 pm on Tuesday 22nd December.

New Products for November
As you know, we're always looking for new ways to bring a little part of Spain back to the UK. As such, we get many requests for various products that represent a little reminder of home or holiday for different people. This month, we are pleased to be able to fulfil some of those requests by bringing you:
- Altramuces (Lupin Beans): a popular savoury snack that will have you coming back for more.
- Dried Ñora Peppers: a very common ingredient in many regional Spanish cuisines. We apologise that it's taken us so long to get this key ingredient!
- Galletas Maria: the classic 'Maria' biscuits that are synonymous with Spain...and Cola Cao of course.
- Bizcochos: delicately sweet - another classic biscuit from Spain.
- Cola Cao Energy: the classic Spanish chocolate drink is now available in a ready to drink format.
